Health information you have given to HealthCPR or healthcpr.ca is not shared with any outside business or organization except in cases where organizations partner with HealthCPR on campaigns or partake in HealthCPR research projects. You can expect us to protect your privacy. Your information and the business you do with us is kept in strict confidence unless you direct otherwise. Only authorized personnel have access to your information. We don’t sell your information to third parties. Our procedures and systems are designed to protect your information from error, loss and unauthorized access. We keep your information only as long as it is needed. We monitor our compliance by reviewing the information submitted and by keeping it stored in a confidential electronic repository.
You can give or withdraw your consent. We need to get your express or implied consent before obtaining or using information about you, or disclosing this information to anyone. (The exception is when we are required by law, or it is necessary for our protection.) You can withdraw this consent when ever you want, unless legal requirements prevent this.
Not allowing us to use information about you may mean we can't provide certain services, which may be of use to you.

We do not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or address. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail, or registering in a secure portion of the site. Any personal information you do provide is protected under the federal Privacy Act. This means that, at the point of collection, you will be informed that your personal information is being collected, the purpose for which it is being collected and that you have a right of access to the information. We use software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted our web site. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site.
Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except in the context of ongoing HealthCPR research or in the case of individuals you request to contact you.
If you join a HealthCPR on-line discussion group, we may ask you to volunteer personal information such as your name and e-mail address for the purposes of effective administration of the discussion group. In some cases, our groups are limited to member only discussions and as such can not be accessed by the general public. We will notify you as to whether you are joining a closed (limited) or open (public) discussion.
